What is a good song or artist to perform a foxtrot? I'm getting married in a couple of weeks and we want to perform a song that is fun and easy. Any suggestions? I have heard that you can foxtrot to rock songs.....what artists or songs?

What does the phrase, "Your foxtrot just got foxtrotted mean"? I know what a foxtrot in terms if a dance is. But in halo, I keep hearing Buck saying "Your foxtrot just got foxtrotted." In military terms I know the letter F is foxtrot, and i think foxtrot also means faster than walking but not sprinting. Although I still don't understand that phrase.

How can I get my foxtrotter/clydesdale gelding to stay in his foxtrot gait more often? I trail ride my gelding alot and would like him to stay in his foxtrot for longer periods of time since its very smooth. Everytime I ask him to gait he does for a couple of minutes but goes into a very rough trot. I ride him in a snaffle copper roller bit with 8" shanks which he seems to like but someone suggested that I have to change it to a walking horse bit? I'd rather not have to change bits since he is part clydesdale and finding bits to fit him is quite hard. A friend put side reins on him to tuck his head more and he started tossing his head so I took them off. Any help would be appreciated since there are not any gaited horse trainers in the area I live in.

Can anyone recommend a modern country song for my fiance and I to dance the foxtrot for our wedding 1st dance? My fiance and I are taking foxtrot lessons for our first dance at our wedding in a few weeks. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT are they thinking? I know this quewstion really does not belong in here but here me out and follow me on this. I got a letter from my oldest boys school yesterday and what I read blow my mind. Dear parents You are all aware that Pittsville School District is committed to ensuring the health and saftey of each student and staff member. we have taken many measures over the past couple of years to secure our facility in an attempt to maintain this safety. On Monday 05OCT07 we will be practicing a lockdown/introder drill at Pittsville Elem. School. During the drill members of the police department will be here and there will be simulated shooting. the police will bring in two actual shooters who will be shooting a powdered chalk ammunition at predetermined adult simulated victims. then thye go on saying that the teachers are telling the kids not to be scared and don't worry about what is happening. The city of Pittsville WI is about 800 and its a farm community. I feel that they are taking this to far Sharia we are adults. We expect this kind of training they are kids 5-14 years of age. Are folks like you wanting some kids seeing this think its a game and then bring a weapon into school and think its a game? There drills are one thing taking a gun that shoots chaulk ammunition. If you have ever seen the Andy Griffith show Barney is what would be used to discribe the police force there. Think before you speak.
