How many kinds of Foxtrot are there?

Some one told me that the 5 step foxtrot is the best. I dont know which is the best and why. Perhaps the foxtrot has faded into the misty past ....

2. Interesting . . .I've been ballroom dancing for about 15 years and I never heard the term '5 step foxtrot'. There's basically two styles of foxtrot - American or International. American is good to get started with, more of a social dance. International style is good for the competitive dancer (although at a higher level both are challenging).
