1. Foxtrot has now developed to the point that it almost demands a slower tempo than it did in its youth, but if you go back to the swing era, you'll find that people were dancing foxtrot at the country club to the exact same song as others were dancing swing dances to in less lofty venues. If it's foxtrot tempo, you can go to the center of the room and swing your heart out (just please, avoid blocking the line of dance for those trotting around the sides of the room!). Personally, I'd pick foxtrot for your clip, and swing when the tempo's a little faster.
